About Royal Alsup, Ph.D.

Royal has worked as a therapist, professor, and community activist among Native Americans and African Americans. He has published extensively in academic, alternative, and holistic journals. His areas of interest include the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and M.K. Gandhi.

To quote from Royal's Vitae:

The goal of my life’s work has been to bring synergistic understanding between the individual and the community in healthy dialogue, working constantly to overcome monologues that create fear, anger, and to bring creativity to the healing space. My work is a person-centered science that considers the self-actualization of the individual to be important, as well as a healthy community that supports nonviolence and dialogical understanding.
